Here are some instructions about how the papers work, what this project is about and why to put tallies. 
The you matter is making someone happy, smile and/or feel important.  During class when your teacher observes or you tell the teacher if you or someone makes someone feel important, happy or smile they can put a tally on the class list that we gave you.  This can happen inside the class room or outside at recess. The sheet that says the criteria (w/the smiley face) that is the sheet that will tell you why to put a tally.  We will come around twice a week  to count the Tallies. By the end of April each  division will have a winner to have  gym with the grade 6's.

Over the past week, students in Mme T's grade 6 class needed to email Mme T to go to a presentation on Spencer West. Only 4 people could go.
     Spencer West works for free the children and has no legs from a sickness that paralyzes your legs.  He also climbed Mt Kilimanjaro.
